Real Designers and Real Actresses join Stardoll

Now that the girls Real Celebrities with a CeleBOUTIQUE /(not to mention the rumors running wild all over Stardoll about what other features they may be launching here very soon – ed. ) /

Its time to take a look at how these two twins could end up such different people who work together so well?

And what a lot of work they do. The pair are businesswomen, designing *marykateandashley* -a ready-to-wear clothing range, the Row, and an upmarket fashion line, Elizabeth and James. They work long hours together managing their fashion and media empire and are these days newly re-exploring their interest in acting, separately, with high profile roles in movies and television.

"Full House" may have given the girls their debut in show-biz as pre-toddlers, but Mary-Kate and Ashley didn't wait for the series to end to branch out and start building their billion-dollar empire. A very popular series of straight-to-video movies, books, posters and dolls and by age 12, Mary-Kate and Ashley had become the focus of a serious empire.

After high school - Mary-Kate and Ashley both decided to go to college in New York City There was tons of media coverage, of their new apartment in the city and what courses they chose, what they wore, who they were hanging out with. Ashley liked it at NYU, but Mary-Kate not so much, and she moved back to the West Coast. So now we have one on each coast --- but they are still super tight.

They have been slimed on the Kid's Choice Awards … always fun … and co-hosted TRL on MTV, but a huge part of the Olsen empire is the fashion lines.

Their clothing lines have grown up with them, and they have had a huge impact as fashion icons. Mary-Kate was the patron saint of boho or ashcan chic … if Sienna Miller and Kate Moss trumpeted that look (and Chloe sold it) in London it was Mary-Kate who blew it up big in New York.

They are regulars at Fashion Week, and always sport something fresh and edgy with special attention to accessories. Their new is often retro with large sunglasses, flowing skirts, boots and period jewelry.

Known for their dramatic red-carpet appearances and their bold makeup choices again retor and full of references to earlier looks, sometime 60s Paris sometimes 40s Hollywood -- it always makes the news.
